Bells Hells Kollektion: Laudna Hemdkleid

Got a large based on my normal buying habits, as the size chart was confusing for me. Bust was a bit tight, but not uncomfortable or restrictive. I’m shorter than Marisha, but the hem still falls in the same area of my legs as pictured.

The fabric is thin and comfortable, and not at all sheer. I love how it flows behind me. It’s balanced well enough that I don’t have to worry about it flying upward from a strong wind. The embroidery is beautifully done. Sadly, there are no pockets.

Washing instructions are the hand/delicate wash in cold water and to line dry. But in a pinch I threw it in the dryer on LOW for 20 minutes and immediately removed it.

I only wear black so I thought this would be a good addition to my closet and I was right. Wore it to a salon interview and it was the perfect mix of eclectic and professional--my new boss absolutely loved the scissor detail.
Super versatile: I wore it out to the bar after the interview, and it easily dressed up into a going-out fit!
Oh and it arrived super fast--like 2 days!

The fit of this dress is just perfect, and the tie in the back is an excellent touch for aesthetics and functionality! The quality is great, I can't wait to wear it out.

I bought it for a maker's fest I am working, but was very impressed by the quality of the construction and the cut of the dress. My husband even complimented me on it. It is hand wash line dry or dry clean, so if you want easy care this is not for you. Runs comfortably true to size.
