Preemptively, let me be clear these are nitpicks and I am genuinely happy about all the quality of life benefits this system has compared to something like Dungeons and Dragons.
However there are a few things I am seeing potential for improvement.
The first thing is that at least the hope and fear dice would have been nice to be included in the core set, as it is not the industry standard (yet) that these are included in a standard 7 piece RPG dice set. I had to order therefore some dice from a third party for the main mechanic of having these two distinct d12s.
The second nitpick is that the box for the cards is a bit small if someone might wants to sleeve their cards, which I am notoriously doing...
Therefore even with nearly invisible inner sleeves they don't exactly fit into the compartments anymore. If the compartments would account a bit of margin for sleeved cards that would be lovely.
The third thing is something very specific, but technically negligible. Great-swords are historically not "Massive" and would be totally unpractical that way. They are meant to deter enemies via their reach imminent even in the naming of some historical models like the "Gassenhauer", which is Zemian for Path-cutter. Translated into RPGs this would implicate a use as semi reach weapon like a Spear or Halberd. So to break the trope of bigger means better I would recommend to give it the quick and cumbersome trait instead of Massive as well as giving it Very Close range. This is a net buff, but I see quick as debatable. I would rather go with something like sweeping edge but with the effect of quick because as a deterrent it is often used in a sweeping motion.
