Mazzo di Tarocchi dell'Oracolo della Luna di Mollymauk Tealeaf (e Jester Lavorre)

My boyfriend who is obsessed with DND & Critical Role was gifted this oracle deck for the holiday season and was over the moon (no pun intended) to show me. I myself am a practicing witch of over 9 years and have had quite a few divinatory decks in my time (seven to be exact). When he showed me the at there was an option to make your own cards for this deck, I knew I needed to have it. I’ve used my cards for a few spreads so far and I quite enjoy them. The artwork is beautiful and thought provoking, the associations are straightforward and easy to grasp. As small as this deck is at 20 cards, it is still its own complete deck with 2 separate Arcana which I call the Fool Arcana and the Jester Arcana after their makers. It’s impressive to me that such a small deck managed to do this in such an indirect way and I think it works like a charm. I’m very excited to add my own Arcana to the deck. With all that being said, there are a few things that I believe could be improved about this deck…Mainly the finish of the cards. The finish has too much friction which makes shuffling a difficult task especially if you can’t perform a faro shuffle. The other issue I’ve found is the lack oracle spreads personalized to the deck itself. While the booklet talks briefly about single card and three card drawings, I was hoping for 1-3 spreads personalized to this particular deck. These two issues are nowhere near enough to tinge my elation with the uniqueness, spiritual power, and magic of this oracle deck. I have my Arcana already planned and only need to get the artwork commissioned which will be an exciting endeavor!! I can already see myself buying a second deck of these cards to add 10 more custom cards to my deck!
