Cute but the fit just doesn't do it for me

For reference, I'm a large in a men's tee, plus sized girlie with a big chest and I ordered this in a medium. It was MASSIVE in the body even though the sleeves and band were the right size. So I exchanged for a small. Not happy with it. The fit is better as far as correct proportion on the oversized look, but the sleeve elastic is not too tight for me to push up and the waist is tight.

I feel like this garment is a great pick for a very slim person OR a very curvy plus sized hourglass shaped person with a small waist compared to the hip-bust, to accentuate that. On other people I can't imagine how this is flattering. It falls in a weird place and bunchy gathering does not help.

My other complaint is the sleeve and hem finishing are very sensory unfriendly. Instead of being a cuff, it's a gathered elastic and it looks bunch and feels very stiff. I think this size would fit me if the hem and cuffs were normal hoodie finishes. Instead this look is uncomfortable and bulky. I don't plan to return it a second time so I might either cut the bottom and leave a raw hem, or refinish it myself I guess.

All that being said the embroidery is beautiful and is why I bought it in the first place! The orange is slightly more neutral/muted in person. The inside sheds like CRAZY, I'm hoping some inside out washes makes that go away but be warned.

Wear it pretty much every day

Love this hoodie. It's comfortable, soft and I get so many compliments on it. Love the burnt orange colour and the embroidered leaves. I was expecting the embroidery to rub around the shoulders but I actually don't notice it. Agree with what a lot of other people are saying in that, while it's described as a crop hoodie, you can easily pull the waist band down so it sits around your hips if preferred
