I've never owned a woven blanket before, so I'm not sure if the texture is something to be expected, but I found it to be a little rough to the touch and not very comfortable to snuggle with. If you are more interested in displaying this as a tapestry, I think it is definitely worth it. The artwork itself is very vibrant and eye catching, and you can tell just by feeling that it's going to last a long time. If it weren't for the lack of comfort, I would be rating this 5 out of 5.

It's big, it's colorful, it's beautiful! Not the softest just after arriving, but I expect it'll break in with washing. Happy with my purchase!

I loved the blanket so much that I have to sleep with it every night. Knocks me out cold (who put a potion of sleep into the thing?) I’m buying another just in case they stop selling it at some point so I can make sure I have one for my next apartment.

I didn't know exactly how big it was! ITS HUGE! I LOVE IT! It's very comfy and just fabulous. The only thing now is the cat and I fight over who gets to use it more. So far, its him but that's okay.

I was lucky enough to get this as a birthday gift from my older brother, and let me tell you, this is one of the best gifts I have ever received. I grew up with blankets like these and this was so worth the money. The blanket is actually HUGE and the detail and element in this thing radiates beauty and awe. I remember seeing it shown the first time and the camera doesnt do it justice. 1000/10 recommend. "If you look down and see the stars, what will you see if you look up?"
